If you are looking for a motorcycle adventure that will take your breathe away for scenic and open highway riding then I highly recommend that you take a look at the tours offered and operated by JD's Motorsickle Tours, I have been on the last two tours.
My first tour was to Daytona Biketoberfest in 2011, we started out in San Francisco, the flew to Chicago with a visit to the Harley Museum. The trip took in all of the south east of The United States, as far down as Key West in Florida, visiting all the major cities and plenty of outback southern towns. The second trip was this year, called The Indy 500 Canada Tour, a first for JD's Tours, this trip started in San Francisco where we took in the sights and Alcatraz then we flew to New York where we picked up the bikes and headed north up through Boston, Maine and into Canada, back via Niagara Falls, Indianapolis to Washington DC West Virginia..... you would have thought that JDs Tours had been running this trip for years as all aspects went off without a hitch.
The trip highlighted with the tour going to the INDY 500 to watch Scott Dixon race, it was amazing to be basically the only Kiwi's amongst the 100,000 other race fans, it is hard to describe the experience, this tour is a must to put on your bucket list as you get to see a bit of everything, the difference between the North and Southern states of America is diverse and Canada is a whole other experience, you get to take in all the sights, the tour ensures you don't miss anything so you can maximise your time away.
You have plenty of time to explore things that may be of a particular interest to yourself. One thing I have to say is, the accommodation is excellent, you have a choice of the bike you want { all late models or new } you are always located where the action is and the rooms are always of high standard.
My friends and I have already booked again for next year to do the Sturgis trip, you should check it out then book .... why wait !
